What is a good battery size to make a 6 cell pack? The pack that came with it looks like AAA batteries in it, but does not say. Looking for something around 1200 to 1500mah. I don't think AA or 2/3AA will fit.

I will find out for you. Maybe someone else knows and can post as well. I know the cells, just not what they are called. They are also used in the NiMh Rascal reciever pack.

Great truck, fast shipping, good price, thanks schumacher. Need to put some wheel bearings, batteries, hopped-up motor on your site though. The bearings are MR84.

Tried a 7 AAA 720 mah pack, and the truck is really fast. Motor and esc does not seem to get hot. battery is a little tite with the body on. Also put wheel bearings in.
