havoc diff problems
im having a problem with putting new diff halfs in my havoc and getting it running again.
i bought some new diff halfs and fitted them as the manual said, drove it for about 3-5 mins and it reved but wouldnt move, so i took it apart and the diff was loose i then stripped it down and checked the diff springs and re-built it again.
if i lock the diff complete it doesnt loose drive but it doesnt turn and if i back it off 90% and tighten the locking grub it will drive perfect for a short time 3-5 mins.
im stuck with this any any help would be realy great
cheers havoc1972

RE: havoc diff problems
Invest in some thread lock it costs a couple of dollars.
It will be better if you fit ceramic bearing in it and won't come loose as often. $20-30. Once thread locked the grubber screw will probably round off so you will need a new diff cup.
