Uncle Willie has one of about 1/4 scale size, and I got one of the smaller, older Berkeley models designs here of about 44 inch w/s.

Quite popular, and one of the Cub lovers here has a real one too.

The Tri-pacer as 1/5th scale was done by Sterling years ago. It was not to scale like at the rear. I have one, needed a whole wing so did one as laser cutting job. Sold off quite a few new wing copies, mainly to Austrailia now.

I am thinking that the plans and parts for the 1/4 scale one which went to Miller was in vicinity of a 90 inch w/s. You really need to contact him on this.

A Tri Pacer build would be nice. The fullscale had ~29' wingspan so 1/6 is ~58", 1/5 is~70" and 1/4 is ~87".

ah, thank you. 1/6 scale sounds better, so no one is building one or has built one...jim

I hope you build and post! I love civvy jobs. I have built J-3's and have a J-2 and PA-12 in the works. I have drawn plans for a Cub Coupe and have the cowl molded and ready to go! I've built an Aeronca C-2 and a few Champs. These airplanes just aren't that popular and will tend to get less popular with time, it seems.
