Default Quick Autocad Question

Howdy again,

I am working on a drawing in Autocad 2011 that someone started in metric (mm), I want to convert the entire drawing to Inches and I cant seam to do it.

I have went into units and changed them to inches but when I deminsion or measure it is still in mm.

It would save me alot of time if I could get the drawing into inches because that is what I am familar with.

Thanks

The way I would do it is to scale the drawn parts by x 25.4.

If the drawing is metric you need to scale it by .03937 to convert it to inches.

Example:

100mm x .03937 = 3.937 inches

Set up a new dimension style for inches. Then the drawing will be to scale in inches.
