I have contacted several of the popular laser cutters only to be told that they either are unable or unwilling to help me. I am not a manufacturer so I understand my jobs are small, but I am looking for someone to transfer plans to a usable format and cut pieces for me. I understand this costs and I am willing to pay, Why is it so hard to find someone to do this? Does anyone know of a cutter willing and able to do this for me?

Hey,

I've just ordered a custom kit I designed from lasercutkits.com.au, excellent service very fast efficient and was willing to do anything for me even cut a few extra things at no extra cost. I would highly recommend them.

Well, sLimeyBob,

I was going to contact you about laser cutting until I found you selling unauthorized short kits of my F-106 Delta Dart on your web site.

When we spoke on the phone today you claimed you didn't know I sold kits of this design. You claimed 'someone sent you the plans'. (like, Air Age?)

I guess in your haste to make a quick buck off my hard work you missed the info box on the template sheet that provided information about how to order kits directly from me.

Then on your web site I found a copy of my copyrighted Construction Guide that had the copyright information either deleted or obliterated.

You claimed that 'a modeler did that and sent it to you'.

Looking on your web site I see you sell short kits of a lot of other modelers' designs.

I know you did not contact me to obtain permission or licensing to sell my design.

Have you contacted any of the other designers, such as Hostetller or Golds about selling short kits of their designs?

Or, are you doing to them what you did to me and selling unauthorized copies of their designs?

As a model designer you would be the last person I'd be sending proprietary CAD files.
