I recently purchase some #11 scalpel blades and knife blade holder on E-bay.
They are super sharp and the handle is very strong and I believe Stainless.

I find that the actual medical scalpel #11's have the right shape but that they are often too weak for more than light duty use. I prefer the slightly thicker variety with the smaller hole that are/were typically sold for use in the graphics art business or as actual hobby knife blades.

It still doesn't mean I never use the thinner medical scalpel blades. Just that I have a number of knives set up with the thinner medical style as well as the thicker and more durable graphics art/craft style.

I have a Balsa Stripper that uses them I purchased a few years back from Hobby Lobby. It's great for when you need a lot of the same size strips but one offs I usually use my Master Airscrew stripper.
