Default Cap 21 canopy

Building a Cap21 and wondering where I can get a canopy? Plane is 52" wingspan. Canopy per plans measures 8" long, 3" high, and 4 1/4" wide. Was thinking that a Sig 40 4 Star canopy might work. Emailed them for specs but no return info. Thank you for any help.

You could always carve a plug and vacuum form a canopy. There is one guy in our club that has the equipment to do it, so you should be able to find someone if you are not set up to vacuum form.

Try Park Flyer Plastics. He has lots of canopies for out of production kits.

I modified Carl Layden's Cap 21 CAD plans years ago and use the 4*40 canopy. Worked great and the plane flew for 4 seasons until an untimely dumb thumb.
