Nice hinges!! What do they call that thing on the from of the wing. I assume it does the same thing the bulbous bows do on ships make the wing seem bigger and more efficient?

on the flap thing,I found that getting the correct position on the inner and outer stations, then lofting the pivot points and positioning the assembly around the pivots works.

maybe it acts like a slat,,creating the airflow of a longer chord, without the weight.

Will have to have a session on the Feiseler Data File to see if I can help answer your questions....???

Wing almost complete, just have the wing tip and underside left to skin, once I've fitted the 2 servos and linkages. Will then mirror the wing on the required centreline and make a start on the fuselage at weekend. CAD starting to get heavy on this assembly, slowing down my laptop. That's the trouble with Solidworks as the model gets heavy.

Very nice work! Those X-Ray drawings drive people crazy!!! LOL!!!You might save some weight if you just do those tip with balsa blocks.

These are some outlines from a 1/4 scale design by an Italian company, i don't think they are around anymore.
