Hi everyone!
This is my first post here.
I'm not sure if this question belongs to this forum, if not please direct me to a more suitable place.
My problem is this:
I'm trying to make a solid model, shaped like an airplanes fuselage.
I thought using a loft would be the best solution, but with a loft I get a shape with flat start and ending.
So to get past this, the only way I could come up with was to make the first and last cross-sections extremely small (still flat ends, but not as noticeable).
So does anybody know how to do this better?
I'd really appreciate any suggestions you might have.
I'm using Autodesk Inventor 7.

I usually make very small circular sections with say, a 1/16" diameter at the nose and tail. (assuming they're pointy) Then I loft the larger sections in between. (or "extrude")
