Default There's more to it...

What you already have is a foam PLUG, from which you might be able to eventually make a mold. Still, you'll have to fiberglass (lightly) the foam plug before making a mold...Foam isn't smooth enough or durable enough on it's own to make a good mold from.

There's a lot of information on this process on my non-commercial web site, at http://www.nextcraft.com

Default cbm f-16 instant mold???

I am just finishing up a project where I did this very thing. Mine is the Kyosho F16 EDF. It is an all foam aircraft but has a plastic coating on the outside. Mine now has a glass/epoxy fuse instead of foam.
