Does anyone have a solid model (dwg preferably or dxf format) of an OS91 VR-DF Small Head and/or of a Dynamax fan unit?
I'm using Mechanical Desktop 6 and would like to gather a collection of models. I would like to start modelling simple things like servos, receivers, battery packs, fuel tanks, etc to hopefully start a small library. Would be nice to have a place where everyone could go to to grab the 'basic' components and use them for fitting in their aircraft designs.
Was just a thought...

When we first got this "CAD/3D" page going, I tried to start three different "libraries" that we could all use. One for "Parts", as you suggest, one for "Engines", and one for "Design Specifications", so we could all compare ideas and trade information.
So far, those threads remain largely unanswered. (Look on pages 12, 13, and 14 in the past history here.)
Anyway, if you email me, we can trade some CAD parts. I have a pretty large collection of objects such as receivers, servos, odds and ends, and a couple of engines. (a scalable version of a typical 2-stroke and 4-stroke)

Wow Mike, those look great. I really don't have anything to send yet as this was something I've thinking about starting for sometime now. When I get into to the swing of things, I'll let you know what I've got. I haven't used 3d modeling for a while so it will take me sometime to get it back up to speed.
CoosBayLumber, is there an address or somehing a guy can go take a look at?

Best route to get there is to go to the Tower Hobbies big list of web sites. They have a group of links to sites by-state. The Fort Worth club is listed there, and Jo Jusko has a button on the front page, plus there is a direct one listed in the T-H site elsewhere. I find they seem to change web addresses on occasion, so cannot quote latest.
