aeromaster
Hey there everyone,
my friend has a aero master from GP,
when he powers up to full throttle it climbs sky high
and seems to be all out of trim and i have checked the declage.. sorry for the miss spelled words, and found that the tail plane was at a downward angle, so i used a spirit level to match it to zero, elped a little bit, but i keep telling him it could be the motor angle, if anyone has a aeromaster or knows someone who does can soeone get me the thrust line for the motor? thanks for your help

I have built and flown seven of these and all required that the upper wing be at about 1.5 to 2 degrees less angle of attack than the bottom wing. On most of mine, the stab being used as zero incidence were set up with zero incidence on the lower wing (same as stab) and the upper wing negative 1.5 degrees incidence. I found the same type set up worked best with the Phaeton 90 (two of them), two Phaeton40's and two Lazy Aces. All also required about 3 degrees right thrust and 3 degrees downthrust.

He'll want to check the CG as well. A too far forward CG combined with the up elevator trim that it requires will produce a model that has a strong tendency to climb with added power.

having set your decalage in your airomaster, from zero incidence in stab, 0 and lower wing, 1.5 negative in upper wing this seems to give a negatave attitude to the aircraft...
does it fly well, or have I interpetated your info.......
