After searching this site, and the internet in general, for the past couple months, I've run into a deadend on finding Funtana plans. I realize it was an ARF kit. A few fellow RCU'ers have said in the past that if they can get ahold of a specimen, they would draw up some plans. Well, I have a .40 size Funtana that has very little damage if someone would want to do that and share them. I would love to scale it up slightly.

When I click on the plans at that URL, all I get is a text document. Is the site broken?

When I click on that link and then the aircraft link, it says it's a ".rar" type file. I don't know anything about this file type except that it's a compressed file. Can someone help out on what this file type is and how to open it.

google for winrar. You'll get a new evaluation copy of the old WinZip that will open both .rar as well as .zip files.

And don't "Open" the file or you'll get just text. Use the "Save" option then unrar it and open the resulting files with a CAD program or cad viewer program.
