Throttle Servo Question
I am starting to get things together for a small Vickers Wellington build. The plans I've acquired were done by Frank Baker and published in MA back in the early 1980's. The plane is extremely light, has a 66 in wingspan, and calls for two .10 sized engines. The plans also show ridiculously large 80's vintage servos. They show one servo using torque rods for ailerons and one servo for both throttles. I'm planning on using my old Hitec sailplane gear, 2 HS81 servos for the ailerons and one each for the elevator and rudder. The question I have is, would a micro servo like a hs-55 or 56 be sturdy enough for the throttle on a .15 - .28 sized glow engine?
Thanks,
Rich

The hs55 should work just fine. There is not much load on them and the vibration should be minimal on that size of a plane. I have use that size servo on glow in the past.
