Tom Keeling Christen Eagle
I recently aquired a very old set of plans for this biplane. I'm interrested in building it. Does anyone have any experience with this plans-built project? How does she handle? Any limitations I should know about? Should I forget about it to begin with?
Wingspan 63"
Length 55 1/2"
13-16lbs
.90 - Quadra

I can't figure out what biplane you're talking about. Arnold
Tom Keeling Christen Eagle.
It is a Christen Eagle. (Pitts Biplane - White with the Eagle color scheme)
Plans drawn by Tom Keeling.
Wingspan: 63 inches

Engine: calls for a .90 - Quadra

Avaiojet,
No dates anywhere.
I was hoping to see an example of the bipe built. Personally, I like the Pitts S2-A better. I think it would be an easy conversion.
I'll just need to build it!
If anyone has any info on this, I'd appreciate it very much. In the meantime, I have two other builds to finish first, then I'll hit this one.
Thanks everyone for the help.

Aviojet-
I'm wanting to pursue pattern at the moment. They're not scratch builds, but sportsman class entries. They are the GPUltra Sport 60 and the Carl Goldberg Extra 300. One of them I hope will be good enough to use and be competitive with for awhile. (I prefer to build my planes myself.)
Let's see, I also have a Pica Waco, and a Miss Norway (plans build), a UFO (plans build with the original sticky templates), a Hostetler 1/4 scale Skybolt (plans build),etc..........
So many planes to build and too many frivolous activities to waste my time; like work, family... I'd like tobuild the 88 inch Smith Miniplane that I've seen out there someday.
This is depressing, but the only thing I really have to put in the air at the moment is my GPSkybolt. I need to get building.

I have been looking for plans for a Christian Eagle a long time. Can I get a copy? It may not be the size I want but I can redraw it. Does it show the rib profiles? Fuselage formers, etc.?
