G26, Sig floats. havnt done the maiden yet, ice just went off the lake this weekend.

I hope it flies well. 
If you do have a problem with stability on takeoff, you might want to reduce the float incidence a bit.  It might run up on the noses of the floats and go squirelly at just under takeoff speed.  I hope not, ....I hope you find it to be perfect on its maiden flight.

the pics look like its got a ton of positive, but in reality i have about 1 1/2 degrees. The floats are not level in the photo

Have a .40 size Stik in mothballs, great idea to put it on floats. Thanks Waiting on "ice out" myself.

Only time I ever put a stik (Hanger 9 Super Stick) on floats, was about 9 years ago.
I used 2 Identical H9 landing gear. 
The bottom of a stik is parallel to the chord line. I had ZERO  incidence.
Had to droop the flaperons a bit to take off.
