With great conditions on Lake Hvaleyrarvatn in Iceland, I was finally able to make my first ever take-off and landing on water. It was such a joy to fly the Catalina off the lake, and she did a fantastic job!

Mel Dunham's PBY-Catalina that he built from my design took second place in Military at the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) Expo in California.
