Alpha on floats?

Alpha on floats?
Good morning! I have a need for advice. We live on a lake and therefore it is nice to fly from floats. I have the carbon Z and a small electric CUB. But my love is glow / gas. In have an alpha 9 and put floats o. It but the floats were also from hangar9 and are HUGE and heavy. Is there a better choice? Thanks for any advice, tips, etc.
