Default Can someone ID this flying boat?

Hi all,

I bought this mostly built flying boat, very nicely constructed, it's missing a few pieces and I would love to finish it. It had an electric 4025-10 motor on it which I removed for now, 60" WS. I searched the web for hours with no luck finding anything that looks like this.

Does anyone out there recognize this? Don't think it was a kit, looks like it was scratch built from plans.

Cheers!

Matt, thank you so much!! I can't tell you how much this means to me. You won't believe this but Rick was my friend who passed last year, we flew in the same RC flying club, the estate sale was last week and I bought this there. What a wonderful addition to the story.

Thank you so much.

Cheers

PS I have to ask, how the heck did you know about such an obscur aircraft? Or were they really popular back then?

Mostly it's just a matter of too much time on the internet. Outerzone has an advanced search function where you can set things like wingspan and search terms like "seaplane".
