gee..I never had a thread addressed to me before ......
That is great Darren! What size engine did you go to??
That flying shot looks very scale...I'm going to make room for it in my pictures folder.....

Flys OK means, It doesn't like me and I don't like it when its in the air.....Well, really it means it doesn't fly like a trainer.. You have to be on the sticks and watch it all the time.. The tail feathers are scale and to small so next time I would increase them..
Power now is an Enya 155R, so no lack in that department now... I'll try and bring it to Maple ridge this year..hopefully the weather is better.....
Did you move Nony I thought you lived in Vancouver? But maybe i'm thinking of 4*60...

Yeah, I moved to Edmonton in Sept.....
Sorry I didn't brave the monsoon last spring and get out to Alloette Lake to see it..... I was very surprised that anyone braved the rain to go all the way up there, but the fact that a bunch did, and got a bit of flying in shows a lot of perserverance...........
I'm hoping to get to one or both Shuswap events in '04. If you have never been, it is worth a days drive just to see the sheer variety and quality of seaplane models (even if you don't/can't fly).

Edmonchuck. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I'm not in Vancouver but can attend the Shuswap event with a 10 minute drive. Hint hint. I am going to try the Alloette thing soon.
As I understand it, the full scale flew just as you describe your model.
Some day I'll do some scale stuff too, but now I'll just admire. I know that if I did some great scale job ( Icouldn't if I tried) I would dork it on it's first flight and it would probably end up 100 feet down.

Wow, great scale realism CF-DRG. Other than the TX antenne in the top pic, they could easily be mistaken for the full scale aircraft. Nice job.
