Hello everyone, Is anyone have Float plane in Michigan like event or something to show? I am thinking about get Lanier Mariner 40 Seamaster. I don't know which lake to fly the plane. Walloon Lake is much closest to my place.

There is a very big float fly in the Detroit area. In September I believe. It's at a state park. Usually gets national coverage in the magazines. I used to go to it when I lived in northern Indiana. Somebody will see this and give you the name of it.
I've flown off of Walloon Lake at one of the public access sites. Great flying.

The float fly mentioned is in early September at Island Lake and is sponsored by the Skymasters club. Two days of nonstop float flying with all types of planes. They have a web site with photos. If I can locate it I'll send the address along...........Seaplane
