This is a pic of my 40% Cub on scale PK-2050 floats being water tested in the pool before the maiden, if all is good the floats will be painted after the maiden flight.

This is a pic of the super cub back on water. If you look closely you will see the cub is about to lift off and just the step is touching the water.

My Hangar-9 "FrankenCub."
Had enough pieces parts of a H-9 1/4 scale cub, stripped all the yellow covering and put on orange and blue Solartex, then painted on orange and deep blue Rustoleum. Rib stitching and pinked corner reinforcements all over the airplane. Looks very neat. A DLE-30 in the business-end with a Dave Patrick Super Cub Cowl from Fiberglass Specialties. 3" tru-turn spinner cut/drilled for a Xoar 18X6 prop. Hangar-9 Cub floats. Mixture of JR-821 digital servos and Hi-Tec high-voltage, metal gear, ball bearing digital servos.
Still have to install the ignition, voltage regulator and throttle servo, then final set-up on the floats. Spektrum DX-8 radio.
