I will certainly be there. This is my first time going to Prado Lake. Is it as nice as Santa Fe Dam. The following weekend they have a float fly at Lake Cachuma (by Santa Barara). I plan on attending that float fly as well.

Us tooooo,

I was gonna do a roll call on that one next week, but what the heck

Yeah, prado lake is just as nice, mabee nicer do to grass streeming right down to the water line, and much closer car parking. It's a nice little laidback lake, they run RC boats there on most wknds. and have a full race course, so thiers plenty of room for our opps.

Is this a sanctioned float plane fly-in or just a quick gathering you are trying to organize?

It's a sanctioned event, it's listed in the AMA rag. Not my event, i've never been yet, but plan to go since it's only about 20mins. from home. I just really thought way more would have chimed in on this, but it's cool eather way
