Default Cover for floats

What is the best way to cover foam floats? I have never done this.Rookie

You can sheet them with balsa, 1/16 is OK, then cover with Monokote, paint, or fiberglass and paint. You can also fiberglass right over the foam but DO NOT use the fiberglass resin, use epoxy. Some people have been covering them with packing tape which you can get in colors. What ever floats your boat, I mean plane.............Seaplane
