I have wanted to fly off water for a while so I put floats on a 1/4" foam flyer I made.
32 inch span, weighs in at 15.9 oz.
Gws 350-D swinging 10X8. El cheapo 6 gram servos, Feather, Tower's 20Amp esc, 2 X 1300 Lipoy's.
$3 sheet of foam, some glue and usuall bits and pieces laying around the building board.
Floats are water proofed with postal tape.
Too is fun first thing in the morning out there with the ducks.

No Ducks... I leave them for my buddy who is 1/2 Boxer.. 1/2 Spaniel.
They make a lot of "bad" air if I don't get off before I get to them.

Way to go. I wish I had the mind set to just pull something out of foam like that. Way Cool.
