Heinkel He 115
Hi guys.
Has anyone built or flown this aircraft ?
I just bought this one from a friend here in Sweden It´s scratchbuilt in Norway. Span 136 cm ( 54 in. )It has ailerons and flaps. two Plettenberg electric motors.
Flies 20 minutes on one charge.
What do you think ?

That's really pretty.
The attached pix are of Ed Westwood's design for a Heinkel 31, plans from RCM. Could have been electric, but I had an OS 10 LA that was unemployed so it's going on instead. Should have all the wood construction done next week, including the floats.
Have fun with the -115. I've had a grand time with my first float plane, a converted Hobbico ARF Superstar.

Kenneth:
I was wondering if you ever got to fly the He 115. I'm really interested in building one, as I want my next water bird to be scale and twin engine.
I've been having a lot of fun with this one, lately, a Sig 4*60 powered by a Magnum 91 four stroke and dual purpose, as you can see.

The upload isn't working now but you can see it on the 4*60 Biphibian thread.

RE: Heinkel He 115
Hello again, I have a movie with the HE 115 in the winter. we took her up and she was a bit tail heavy but she came back in one piece.
Take a look at this video. We have so many other projects at the moment so she is resting right now, but it is really a wonderful aircraft..
best regards
Kenneth
