I scratch built it from Bluecore foam. Covered it in Econolite.

Another great video!

Next question, what kind of video camera are you using?

Wow, I'm seriously impressed.

Care to fork out some plans for that little beauty?

I'd love to do one, but one q, isn't the buccaneer a pusher?

Rendegade, thanks! Its a scratchbuild from foam and mostly handdrawn sketches. I will be putting it into CAD and will make it available at some point. Your right, mate! The Bucc. was a pusher but models have been built of both. The reason for a puller on this one was simplicity of building and commonly available parts that are inexpensive. I'd like to make a pusher for the next one to compare. Nice avatar by the way....

Cheers man!

Do you access to a scanner?

If so, scan them and I'll see what I can do for you.

What sort of flight time are you getting with it?

No scanner at the moment, but working on the plans.
With the 2100 3cell, I get about 20 mins of flight time in about 5 mph winds with about
10 ROW's.

Here is a video of the Buccaneer's view; http://www.tornlogic.com/avov/stccdc.wmv 14 megs

Cheers!

That's to cool man. Love the video's. I've been thinking about getting one of the on board cameras my self. Where did you get yours? Is it one that transmits to a ground based receiver for recording? Looks like some nice boats around your area too. Make some more video for us.......PLEASE.

What a fantastic seaplane! I have been flying on floats for the first time this summer, it's fantastic. Now I'm going electric too.
Would you mind posting some more details on your Buccaneer?
I have only find one small plan designed by David Ramsey.
