It's only five more days to the 3rd annual Firelands Float Flyers fly in. Come and fly at the 250 acre New London Reservoir and Campground. That's right, 250 acres of open water that is all ours for the weekend. Only five dollars per day for landing fees, camping available. Go to [link=http://www.firelandsfloatflyers.com]Firelands Float Flyers[/link] for all the details. See you there!!

It's been a great event in the past and we're looking foreward to this year. As in the past I have a set of 42" floats to donate for your pilot's awards. See you in a few days...........Seaplane

Joe, you're correct, there is a couple pics of my planes in the 2004 group. I'll fly the Beaver again, and I'm getting my Astro Hog set up............Seaplane

Thanks Ralph, glad to know you are coming down. Looking forward to seeing you and your lovely wife. We will be setting up on Friday night around 6. If you want to fly friday, you can use the club beach on the other side of the reservoir. Call me at the store when you get in if you want to fly. 419.929.6400.

How did it go? Only 4 pilots with a total of 5 airplanes showed up at the one I went to. Perfectly calm with glassy water for a couple of flights. My 3rd and final was when the wind picked up. Wife and I packed up and headed home while the plane was still intact! That park in Ohio looks like a great spot.

The Firelands Float Flyers week end float fly was super. Saturday was mild and HOT and Sunday was cooler and mild with a little misty rain once in a while. I had many flights both days and sure hope I can attend next year. It's a great site and the club does a super job running the event. Hope to attend next year..........Seaplane
