Default WKMC - Fall Float fly

The West Kootenay Model Club fall float fly in New Denver B.C. has just wrapped up after a great weekend of flying. Here are a few pictures.[img][/img]

Slocan, Wow... thats a beauty of a float fly spot you guy's got there.[sm=thumbup.gif]. Not sure where your at but I was in Kamloops a few time's fishing above B.C. and boy was that something I'll never forget.

Just plane crazy: New Denver is south of Revelstoke whhich is east of Kamloops. Its tough I live in New Denver but someone has to do it. We have a Float Fly twice a year , the first on the weekend before 24th May and the second the third weekend in Sept. It is a small event and very laid back with about 20 flyers.

Nice pics! The scenery around that lake is awesome! The rocky shoreline looks like it would be hard on feet and ankles, though. [X(]

One thing I find curious, is that no one has a shade canopy.

Regarding the rocky shore , yes it is a little difficult to walk on but it is harder on the floats so we have to be careful when beaching. There isn't any canopies cause this time of the year the temperature is only around 20 degrees Celcius and the camping is right on the beach edge.
