Default Floats

jUST WANT TO ADD MY TWO CENTS WORTH: FOAM FLOATS WITH A HARDWOOD RAIL DOWN THE CENTER LINE OF EACH FLOAT: SET INTO THE FOAM, AND WITH 2-4 DOWELS DRILLED THROUGH THE HARDWOOD RAIL CLEAR THROUGH TO THE BOTTOM OF THE FOAM.
I THEN COVER THE BOTTOM OF THE FLOAT WITH 1/16TH PLY (GLUED ON WITH EXPOXY RESIN OR THINNED EPOXY GLUE) AND THEN EPOXY RESIN AND CLOTH (3/4OZ ON THE TOP AND JUST AROUND THE EDGE OF THE PLY, WITH THE RESIN SEALING THE PLYWOOD.). THEN PAINT. i HAVE A PAIR THAT HAVE WORKED, WITH MANY, MANY HARD LANDINGS AND BEACHINGS AND LOOK LIKE NEW. ROGER Q.
