That plane was nicknamed the "Rufe" by the Allies, if that helps.

Not Zero, its a Rufe. Its probably an ARF Zero with homemade tip floats and and a commericial float. Google Rufe and see what you get back.

Look under RCM plans,I remember a few years back there was an on the cover issue with a Zero type plane construction article.
