There have been several threads. Use the "search" feature at the upper right of the screen. The FK is great no matter what you do with it.

Here's one: RCUniverse - The Ultimate RC Forum! > AIRPLANES > Seaplanes > Floats On Flyin King

Hey John.... My Dad has built a bunch of them, and at least two have been on floats - they fly great. The weight and drag don't seem to bother it.
Steve Cohen had a web page devoted to the FlyinKing, but it doesn't seem to be working right now...there were pics of lots of Flyin'Kings including at least one of my Dads' on floats....

I don't have any pictures but I fly my FK on floats often. They are 60 size GP floats. I've flown it both with an 80 Saito and a 91 Saito. Both work well. Flaps down into the wind and you can land without any forward motion.

I'm building the Giant Flying King at this moment. It's the most wood I've ever received in a kit! It will have a Brisson 4.8 twin on it. I've told Bruce that he needs to design a set of floats for it. I'm building the hard points in and will probably blow up the 60 size GP plans.
