New to float planes, but not flying. Ive been flying for a year and have several birds in the hangar. The club I belong to has a couple float fly evants a year and I would like to give it a go. Thought about puting floats on the nexstar, but I dont really like the plane. It flies like crap on land. I would like to find something I can put a 46 2c or 70 4s in. Im not familiar with many of the manufacturers of float planes. I knew lanier had them, but went out of business. I liked the looks of the mariner.
If anyone could point me in the direction of any manufacturers who sell good float planes or flying boats, I would appreciate it. Whatever I build will be strickly float fly built. It wont be something that I would remove floats to put on landing gear. I have 6 other planes to fly.

You can't beat the Ace Seamaster. If you can't find one, you can get the Neptune which is the same plane
