It does look like a Sea Bird (ugh!) but it seems to be fiberglass rather than Lanier's two piece plastic. I know that Lanier bought that design from DuBro, back in prehistoric times. Maybe it is one of the original DuBro models.
I would hate to think that anyone would spend the time and effort to copy the Sea Bird in fiberglass. [sm=sad_smile.gif]

We generally refer to the Sea Bird up here as the Sea T*rd. I've only seen two fly and they were both so greatly modified that they bore little resembalance to the original.

It does look like a seabird. I have renamed mine "seaweed" Purchased it at a swop meet. I am still in the modification mod. The word I get is that it is very heavy. So I have been trying to find ways to make it lighter.
