RE: sig sealane
I have seen one. As you see in the pictures, it looks like a scaled-up aquastar. It also has water manners like a scaled up aquastar: meaning the one I saw wanted to push its nose under water when power was applied. Add chines/splash rails to the edges of the hull. It seemed to fly OK, and it looked nice.

RE: sig sealane
to me it seems like if the nose was going under that it was to nose heavy my seamaster was like that tell i moved the c.g back but yes splash rails will help and i am planing on puting them on my sealane

I have been flying a Sig Sealane over the past several months. It did tend to submarine but the most severe problem was water spray into the prop. I added chines to front and it really helped. Now it takes off without prop spray, gets up on plane faster, and is a joy to fly. I will try to attach several pictures of it.

Bill:
That looks real nice. Since you've been sucessful with it, makes me wonder if I shouldn't do one next. I have the plans for Laddie M's "Arrow", and am leaning towards that. Seems like everyone likes it. Bob |

Look at the left pic. Seems like balsa to me, maybe light ply. |
