any one built the sig sealane if so if you have any tips or pics that would be great

i am half way through mine look good so far >>>>.......................

I have seen one. As you see in the pictures, it looks like a scaled-up aquastar. It also has water manners like a scaled up aquastar: meaning the one I saw wanted to push its nose under water when power was applied. Add chines/splash rails to the edges of the hull. It seemed to fly OK, and it looked nice.

to me it seems like if the nose was going under that it was to nose heavy my seamaster was like that tell i moved the c.g back but yes splash rails will help and i am planing on puting them on my sealane

I have been flying a Sig Sealane over the past several months. It did tend to submarine but the most severe problem was water spray into the prop. I added chines to front and it really helped. Now it takes off without prop spray, gets up on plane faster, and is a joy to fly. I will try to attach several pictures of it.

That looks real nice. Since you've been sucessful with it, makes me wonder if I shouldn't do one next. I have the plans for Laddie M's "Arrow", and am leaning towards that. Seems like everyone likes it.

Look at the left pic. Seems like balsa to me, maybe light ply.
