Source for floats

Hello, I have the Taylorcraft 450 made by E-Flite and I would like to put it on floats. I was told the proper size float would be 24". Where can I get floats for it, and has anyone put this plane on floats yet?

Thanks
Ken

Mrbassman, Herr Engineering Mini Floats would also work for you. They are built up balsa 23 3/4" long, very lite weight, build quick, and are fairly inexpensive.

Try this gentleman, he makes floats in several sizes. They are foam and you can get them balsa finished or plain foam. I have a set on a small e-cub and thay are well made and work well.

I just got a set of floats from [email protected] . A nice pair of "slim" 42" beauties for my Saito FA-82a powered LT-40 ARF.

I took the advice of some on this forum & used "Minwax Polycrylic" water based to glass over 3/4 oz. cloth. Cleans up w/ water, goes on easy, dries fast [use a hair dryer].

Painted using "Ace Hardware's" spray primer. then their premium enamel [dries fast], then a coat of "Minwax Spar Urethane" spray [clear] for fuel proofing.

Did all this in one day.

Great Planes has float kits for 20, 40 and 60 size planes. I took a brief look at the web site and didn't find a length mentioned.
