Cheers CP :D

Think if I do rebuild I'll need a new Rx as I'm sure it was that that gave up. Never played up before though, maybe its just all that high voltage and high current stuff flying...

RE: F27 STRYKER Part 7 : The Basics To The Darkest of Dark

Yeah I've guessed that but thanks. The 4 shorter ones just don't reach without compressing the foam, which seems a bit daft??

RE: F27 STRYKER Part 7 : The Basics To The Darkest of Dark

Is it just me or are the screws that come with the later motor mount too short to go through the foam without crushing it. Or is it supposed to be crushed a little?

It's a long time since I...

RE: F27 STRYKER Part 7 : The Basics To The Darkest of Dark

RE: F27 STRYKER Part 7 : The Basics To The Darkest of Dark

Of the 2 mega motors and the Medusa which is the most versatile or are they all pretty much the same? I'm assuming it is a lot easier to stay with 4s than start messing with anything else?

RE: F27 STRYKER Part 7 : The Basics To The Darkest of Dark

RE: F27 STRYKER Part 7 : The Basics To The Darkest of Dark

To be honest the 18C pack is far superior to the supposed 30C pack. I have used both packs on my 450 size heli and the 18C pack maintains much higher headspeed than the 30C pack.

the figures on...

RE: F27 STRYKER Part 7 : The Basics To The Darkest of Dark

Not sure I will be getting a new motor anytime soon but I guess it always happens...

RE: F27 STRYKER Part 7 : The Basics To The Darkest of Dark

I've just used a 6x4 and I have a FlightPower Evo 30 2000 4s and a Revolution 18C 2100 4s and the Revo is by far better under load

Both packs are around 10 cycles each and the FP is dropping...

Obviously a US problem then because I can pick any servo of the shelf in my LHS in the UK and it will work with any Rx, be it JR or any other:D

RE: electrics and venom failsafe?

Are you using 4 cells or 5?

Failsafes are a PITA on 4 cells, better off just using a spring or PCM.
