Rat1 you mean in normal conditions, not on a treadmill?
i believe Rat1 has unlocked the mystery here, for those who are still befuddled. the tread mill could hold back the plane, and if it moved...

to back up what jamie was saying about getting lift at negative AOA's i have a gentle lady with a .10 engine and landing gear, (hehe) and i bet it would fly straight with a slightly negative AOA, but...

for those that work at big airports after hours...

the "will it take off thread has befuddled many, including myself, so someone get a small indoor plane, not too small, something that will take off from the ground, but not a 2:1 power to wieght...

jlkonn i know a guy who graduated from anapolis just last year or the year before i forget... if he wasnt using it i might be able to borrow it from him, his parents are just a couple miles away =)
