RE: 5LRC 2cell Li Poly for esky

NO, it will not hurt your motor. The only possible problems are, the lower voltage will give you less head speed at the top end, and if the battery weights more than the stock one the helicopter's...

RE: Esky servos stop responding.

The same thing happened to me. I've replaced it with one from Century, witch turns out to be faster. I don't know how well it works, I'm waiting on replacement parts broken because of servo freeze.

RE: help with e sky electric heli

You must have the throttle and the throttle trim at there lowest settings (all of the way down), and the transmitter on before plugging in the helicopter battery. Then wait for all flashing to...

RE: A Slightly Strange Idea: Industrial Design Project

Using a drum May not be the best way to rotate your craft. If I understand the physics of it correctly (probably not) the drum would have to weigh about the same as the rest of the aircraft, that...

RE: Why do i keep having this problem!?!

What does it do when it stops working? Is it like mine where the elevator servo freezes up from time to time? I'll be flying forward then add reverse elevator to slow down, and the servo will stick...

RE: Is my Battery Fully Charged ??????

FlyingFish,
You may have to charge and discharge it a few times in a row to get it up to full capacity, the same thing happened to me with my birdseed pack. Try this with the fast charge if...

RE: Is my Battery Fully Charged ??????

660 min. is just a trickle charge, you don't have to do this all of the time, but it is good to do to new packs once. Try the rates I've suggested after that. When using normal or fast charge don't...

RE: Is my Battery Fully Charged ??????

Is your pack worm at the end of the charge cycle? New batteries need to be cycled a few times to preform to their rated capacity. Have you done a break-in charge? The Manuel says 3300mah should...

RE: how to set up 2 esc for separate

Don't cut it, lift the plastic prong that holds the red wire into the connector with the tip of a knife and pull the red wire out. After you have removed the wire, wrap the metal end with some...

RE: how to set up 2 esc for separate

Yes connect both to the battery. You can disable the BEC on your pixie 7p by pulling the red wire form the plug that goes to the gyro as stated in the manuel under section 4.0.

RE: Help finding heli

This is a cool project, but I don't think it's possible with a helicopter. Micro helicopters are skittish and don't like to stay in one place for too long. If it's not far enough off the ground...

RE: Batteries V or mah??

Lipo's are the way to go, they are about half the weight of Ni-MH packs of the same size. Only use 2 cell packs for stock set-up. You will need a lipo charger if you don't already have one.

RE: Will this work? Or, don't try it....

I think the only way to do this with out changing to a more efficient motor is to increase the source voltage. You could try 3 cell Li Po's if your electrics and motor can handle the extra power, or...

RE: Help with Hummingbird Elite FP spinning

I get this same problem with my new HB Elite CP and I'm using Ni-MH 8.4V. I don't think it's your Lipo's. Does the LED on your mixer go red before full throttle like mine, I only get to about 50%...
