RE: Gohbee - Just a Warning

I would say that THE ONLY things that are different to the Raptor is the Rotor head! ALL the remaining parts are interchangeable with the Raptor. Frames, clutch, Clutch bell, Tail unit, gears,...

RE: Raptor 30 vibration

If you have enough points on your throttle curve, raise the bottom end up to spool up the blades quicker.

RE: Main Rotor Blade Material & Brands

There are some good wooden blades available, some of which do require little or even no balancing at all. Before carbon blades came out the choice for proficient fliers were the glass blades...and...

RE: Newbie - looking for first electric heli

Well, Agree the Logos are nice electrics. A friend had the bionic, but as you say these helis are not cheap. I think that everytime he went down the field, he had several hundred pounds of batterys...

RE: Why do the Plank flyers not like the helis, even if you're not flying them??

plane flyers don't like helis, as...

1. They either can't afford one themselves.
2. Or they had one before, and was never able to get the hang of it.

RE: Century Hummingbird Vs Piccolo

I'm in the UK, and my local model shop stocks the zoom 400..
can't remember the price...I think it was £150 just for the heli.

Also I found the FP hummingbird was more stable than the FP...

RE: Hirobo Sceadu 50 EVO or TT Raptor 50 V2

Never knew the Raptor comes with Carbon blades??!!!
In the UK it doesn't anyway, unless you try and get a deal to have the shop throw them in!!

As you are a beginner, I doubt that you will...

RE: Newbie - looking for first electric heli

If you're just planning to fly an electric around the house just for fun, and feel you have no intention to goto the bigger heli, go ahead and buy the electric. If you feel that you want to progress...

RE: What are 49 ball bearings?

Have to agree, I wouldn't even bother with just the 29 bearings. The whole control system goes sloppy pretty quickly. May aswell go with the 49 bearings, it's a little more, but then you don't have...

RE: just bought a raptor .30V2, good deal?

I've always been weary of

Any heli, crashed, and rebuilt properly, you're never going to know that's been in a crash in the first place!

RE: shuttle z upgrade essentials

If you fly at a club, I would choose a heli that more people fly there. Everyone will have their own personal prefference of heli, so it's not really worth starting a debate of which is a better...

RE: HIROBO GPH 346

GPH346, is quite an old heli. Nice and stable, stacked frames, with push pull on controls. Think it would be an expensive heli to crash. Not sure what the parts back up over there, but in the uk they...

RE: Raptor 50 - What optional parts would you recommend?

If you are into 3d, or even just performing basic aerobatics, I have found that the single most dramatic change is by changing for the metal headblock/grips, washout. Check out the standard plastic...
