gulfstream,yes i am familiar with the motors....due to the 14.4 V rating you would have to run 12 cells thru it in order to run it at its max efficency.Idealy if you can come across a 540 16
turn &...

It really depends on how fast you want to go....Gearation systems in a way can slow the boat down aswell...tough call,If you can explain the hull & current set up or post pics it would make it easier...

I run allot of brushed powered boats & BL powered boats,for brushed I run a 12 turn double in a BBY war zone 26" on 7 cells,makes for a great fun runner.I run a 13 turn double in a Canard hydroplane...
