RE: LST Problems!

If you want the radio to stop glitching with the stock AA battery holder, put a tie wrap TIGHT around the batteries and your problems will go away. I have run almost a gallon of fuel through my LST...

RE: Clutch bell shimming Q's.

You need to vary the amount of shims between the brass collar and the crankshaft until everything can go together TIGHT without much side-to-side play in the clutch bell. Usually I err on too few...

RE: Losi full throttle stalling help!

Without anymore information either the low speed could be too lean or rich and/or the high end could be to lean or rich. How is the idle? Does the truck start easily? Right before it stalls, does...

RE: Look what came today...

I noticed that you flushed the backplate, but did you add a drop of one-way lube to the starter before you put it back together?

RE: LST fuel filter ?

I left mine in the stock postion and haven't had any problems with radio glitching. Moving the fuel filter farther away *could* cause fuel delivery problems especially if the filter is higher than...

RE: Lst or revo ???

If you are going to race I would buy a Revo. If you are looking for something to mess around with in the yard and the street I would buy a LST. The LST has much larger tires and will go through...

RE: Some LST Factory Defects

Take a good look at your high-low selector. Mine was assembled improperly from the factory. While the know turns about 90 degrees, the actual lever only moves 10-15 degrees. Make sure that it is...

RE: LST motor went SOUTH!!!!!

Are all of the bearings ok, maybe there is a problem with the starting one-way? How many glow plugs have you gone through since this engine was new? Hasn't this engine been sold for a while?

LST Quiet pipe?

Does anyone know of a pipe for the LST that would make it quieter? I realize that it could reduce the power, but I am not too concerned. Has anyone run the 3-chamber RB pipes? Are the quieter than...

RE: REVO DESTROYED? (Video)

What was the point of destroying the truck? If you only point was to destroy the truck you could have done something cool like drive it into a wall full speed or drive it off of a house. Crashing...

RE: LST stock battery holder

binaryterror :

That is a really good idea, I have sub-c cells in my 1/5th scale car. I wonder if you can integrate the 5 cells in the LST chassis easily.

RE: LST stock battery holder

Yeah, I am looking into a way to integrate a 5th AA cell into my truck and will most likely put it where the stick pack belongs. Not having or suggesting a zip tie for the battery pack is a very bad...

LST stock battery holder

If you are using AA batteries in your LST make sure that you put a tie wrap around the cells or you will lose power intermittently. I bought 2250 mah AA batteries and I kept losing power when I was...

RE: My new LST and: break in problems

Don't give up on this engine, it is VERY good. Once you have the needles set properly it will idle for ever, accelerate quickly and run cool. If the engine is spitting fuel out when it is idling...

RE: My new LST and: break in problems

You shouldn't use the throttle trim to control the idle speed because as soon as you hit the brakes the engine will die. Additionally with the stock needle settings the engine will not idle for long...
