I'm going to say the 4-tec is BAD NEWS. If you really want a rally machine, I would say get a used tc3 roller off ebay, and modify it to perform offroad. The tc3 is a good car, it just cant keep up...

If you remove the front brace and look down you will see a tiny set screw in the middle of the bulkhead where the pin connects it to the chassis. You just have to back that little screw out a little...
