I have the plastic one and it is pretty sad. Held on with tape and not easy to get on and off. I've read reviews that the aluminum one works much better.

Well I guess I will be staying away from the beach. No point in tearing up my truck when I have a perfectly good dirt track to run it in. Thanks for the input guys.
