Howdy Jeff,
I just ordered a short kit from Eureka. Any chance I could get a set of plans to preview until it gets here?

Hey guys,
I ordered a 35% Extra 300 about a month ago, and was told the kits would be cut by the end of the month. Can anyone give me an update on production status? I've tried calling Aerotech...

RE: Deitrich 50cc extra 260 forum

Yep. The elevators are almost flat across the top, rather than the trailing edge being centered like it should be. Very strange. When I center up the elevators and measure the incidence, they're...

RE: Deitrich 50cc extra 260 forum

On my first flight, I had to add about 25 clicks of up elevator to trim it out. I thought the engine thrust might have been wrong, but started checking it out on later flights. It doesn't pitch at...

RE: looking for a Big bipe kit

txaggie08,
I'd recommend the Great Planes Ultimate if you have flying skills to handle the performance. I have one almost ready to fly this week with a DA50 on it, and all the flight reports I've...

RE: Introducing the new 90-1.20 Yak QB

Well, I finally knocked out a maiden flight on my Yak. After waiting for the 35-50mph winds to settle out for several days, this afternoon was practically dead calm, 78 degrees, and blue skies. ...

fried programmer

Mr. Glavin,
I fried my programmer this evening. I charged it with a peak charger at 1.0A. Within just a few minutes, all the magic smoke had escaped the programmer and it no longer functioned. I...

RE: Extreme Flight Edge 540T-E

I finally located some stick-on lead (Prather brand) and put four 1/4 oz squares (1 oz total) on the front of the firewall, one in each corner. With the battery pushed about halfway into the motor...

RE: Extreme Flight Edge 540T-E

Since I didn't have the option for metal geared servos in the combo, I went with the plain 65s. I'm not exactly 3D capable yet anyway, so they shouldn't be a problem for a while. I'm just gonna...

RE: buy DA Engine

One other thing to consider is heat....Aluminum will shed heat MUCH quicker than stainless. A stainless muffler will get hotter and hold it longer, something I don't think you want on a cowled...

Hybrids and/or other big planes in future?

I'm looking for a home for a Moki 1.80. I've never owned a profile or hybrid and am curious to try one. I'm not really into all-out 3D or competetive precision, I just like to do a...
