Did you use the C A Hinges? I've never had much luck with them. I think the Du Bro flat hinges with the pin would be better. what do you think.

Should have sold the plane like rbxbear44 did. After 15 flights I replaced the landing gear, bent almost everytime I landed. Replaced gear with Graphtech carbon fiber landing gear. After 80 flights...

I have 25 flights on mine. AXI motor, 14.75 lbs one servo for each ail. one for each elevator and one for the rudder on a pull pull set up. The plane flys great, track real good.

Anyone flying this plane witha a Axi 5330 f3a motor. Trying to choose the right batt. Have benn looking at the Duralite evo5000 5s2p. Two of these to make a 10s2p
The plane will be around 14.5 lbs...

truerc.com 99 amp lipo

truerc.com has a 15c 5s3p 6600 mah battery that's rated for 99 amp continuous and 165 amp burst. Price $245.00 and weighs 31 oz. Anyone tried one yet.

I found a few in RC GROUPS that have put a 2808 on the Quiet Storm. They are using a 2200 mA batt. They say the 2808 has plenty of power.

13 oz. without the battery. Four HS-55 servos, I put landing gear, Robart hinges and two sets of 2-56 pull pull cables. AXI 2212/34 with Falcon 1600 mA batt. Its a good plane, 3Ds good.

How much does your motor and battery weigh? I might put a AXI 2808/24 at 2.75 oz. and a Falcon 2200 batt. at 5.4 oz I want to keep the weight right.

I bet you could sell a ton of these kits in the 27% to 30% range. The motor and batteries would be cheaper, and it would be easier to haul to the field. I'll take a 27%, Think about it.

I think I'm running it rich, black oil comes out mufflers. If I clean the plugs it wont miss on one cyl. till after 20 or 30 flights.

When I start the motor up it wants to run on one cyl. After 5 or 10 sec. the other cyl. starts running, then the motor runs ok.Sometimes this makes it hard to start. Anyone else having this...
