that was the only place I scould get it to fit. I tryed on the inside and the back but the motor only went together with it in the front not to mention when the shaft broke that was...

Thatnks Matt,

I have my paperwork and yes your correct at 11.1v using a 10x5 prop the motor current scale shows just shy of 12amps.

so working backwards I can tell what size batery I need...

WhtBronco. I just finished replacing the shaft on my 2812 850 it was a piecce of cake. There is a black set screw on the back of the motor it is a .050 alen wrench. If your retaining ring flew off...

I'll second the added price for the AXI extras vs what Himax includes with its motor. I just had to make the decision myself on the same two motors, I went himax more bang for the buck.
