RE: Phoenix Extra 330S 60-90 Size

I had a SA100 on mine, but oddly enough never flew it. It will mount fine, I believe. Shouldn't have to butcher the cowl too badly. I think the rocker arm covers will stick out some, but it's not...

RE: Ultra Stick 60 & new Saito FG-14/82 Gas

Yeah my only concern is my US60 is about 7 years old and now has a gasser on it. Hopefully it doesn't shake apart..!

In actuality, the Zenoah is relatively smooth it seems, but I need to keep...

RE: Ultra Stick 60 & new Saito FG-14/82 Gas

Yeah it is a shame the USL is no longer made. With the introduction of all these new smaller gas engines in the 20-30cc size, it would be the perfect airframe for some good old fashioned sport...

RE: Ultra Stick 60 & new Saito FG-14/82 Gas

I think the .82 or 15cc sized gas engine would be a little anemic on the airframe. I would go with the 1.25 sized Saito gas engine (http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=SAIEG20)....

RE: Ultra Stick 60 & new Saito FG-14/82 Gas

AA5BY,

I have an Ultra Stick 60 that has a Zenoah G20ei on the front and it flies really well. I've had the plane for quite a while and it used to have a Saito 100 on the front. When I decided...

Power System Sport Plus Kill Switch Problem

I have a PowerSystem Sport Plus that is mounted in an Aeroworks 260 35CC. I ran into a problem on the maiden flight. I lost power shortly after take off. After an uneventful deadstick back around...

RE: Ultra Stick LITE Done Right ..!

This should do it.. It's from Horizon and for the .60sized US, but it should work for the USL..

RE: ultrastick setup

Doesn't the DX7 have the same programming functions as the JR 7202? If so, try reading through this:

RE: cross wind landing

Most airliners don't have castering gear, including the 320 series of airlines if I remember right. Some models of the 737 have a type of castering gear due to the low hanging CFMs on them, but...

RE: cross wind landing

This is a full sized plane, but it's a great example of how to do a x-wind landing. Crab up high to keep aligned with the centerline, then just before or during the flare, align the nose with the...

RE: Brillelli 46GT - A few stupid questions...

Cap Sized

It most certainly does and if I ever make it up to MN, I owe you a beer. One question, though.. Where could I find a set of beam mounts that aren't drilled yet? I have contacted...

Brillelli 46GT - A few stupid questions...

Greetings y'all,

Forgive some of the stupid questions, but my search-fu is weak. I've looked through the Brillelli thread, but didn't find the answer I was looking for....

I have a 46GT...

Yeah man that really sucks. I think they should send you a few freebies, though, because if it wasn't for your post, I wouldn't have ordered mine last night. I did not know they had them on sale!

RE: G20Ei is the best!!

Togatoga,

Do you think the CH ignition has anything to do with the numbers? Those are pretty good. I have the stock ignition and will be using a Xoar 16x8. Hopefully it gets some good...

RE: G20Ei is the best!!

It'll be enough to get it going, not sure about the 3D, though... This engine is fairly heavy when you throw the ignition and battery into the mix. Granted, you have to use less fuel for the same...

RE: G20Ei is the best!!

I did the same thing, except I left the spring attached. I don't think the tension is that much and it shouldn't drain the servo much. Also, should the linkage fail for some reason (servo arm comes...

RE: Maybe a beginner, again?

Fire up the nextstar. If that seems boring to you (and it should come back pretty quickly, so I think it will), pick up an Ultra Stick 60 or something similar. Good, EASY flying planes than can go...

RE: Putting a G20EI on a Ultra Stick 60, removing back plate.

Doesn't bode well, but I'll see what I can do. The "problem" with the mount is it is also too wide to install the engine cyl down in the normal way, even after shortening the front fuse a few...

Two cuts in CH-Ignition wire on Brillelli 46

Hello

I recently picked up a slightly used (are there any new ones now? :D) Brillelli 46 that has a CH-ignition on it. The engine is in excellent shape, but I noticed the ignition wire from the...
