Sounds like you are on tract! I was reading some info on the main doors and installation... in looking at the drawings it (looks) like the main gear doors are hinged to the sheeting, vice...

From what I (think) I know about Sierra tailwheel, it is spring loading, with a slide assembly preventing tailwheel movement when retracted. I hope to install wire pushrods from a 2 sided...

Thanks for the input on engines. I know the 2.1 is slightly longer than the 1.8 or ST 4500. The rails are built into the fuselage with the forward bulkhead open for the air duct going aft,...

Great to hear it about the your "B" Platt! Darrel with Seirra recommended I put a LARGE tank in the fuselage vice Platt's design in the wing. Are you going with a scale tailweel as well? ...

I'm building a Platt P-51 and need the retracts, isn't yours a 1/5 scale as well??? what retract set-up do you have....I might be interested in everything you have, or maybe we can work something...
